Accidental/Malicious
Damage and Theft
Ping Insure Cycle Insurance covers you for Accidental/Malicious Damage and Theft of your insured Cycle up to an individual Cycle value of £15,000
New for Old
If your Cycle is stolen or damaged, and it was purchased new or used, less than 3 years prior to the loss, you will be covered up to the retail price paid for the Cycle.
Public Liability
If someone else is injured or their property is damaged our public liability covers you.
Personal Accident
Cover for bodily injuries following an accident whilst cycling.
Replacement Bike Hire
If you need to hire a Cycle after a claim, then we can provide up to £1,000 for you to hire a replacement.
Cycle Recovery
If you suffer irreparable damage to your Cycle occurring more than one mile from your insured location, you will be covered for the reasonable cost of taxi hire in order to get you to your onward destination, or to your insured location.

You can extend your Cycle Insurance to include up to 45 days use Worldwide

Can I cancel my Cycle policy and receive a refund?

Once we receive all of the above information, we will review your policy documents and provide you with a full breakdown of your refund where applicable. You will then be asked to confirm your cancellation request
Please note, starting a cancellation process doesn’t automatically cancel your policy. You can find your rights of cancellation in your policy documents. All policy refunds are subject to cancellation administration fee, this fee will be automatically deducted from any refund owned.
Alternatively, you can login to your online Ping Account and cancel your policy directly.
What is the maximum value Cycle you cover?
The maximum value of a Cycle that we can cover is £15,000.
Can I make amends to my account?
Do I have to be a UK resident to purchase your insurance?
You would only be able to take out one of our policies if you are resident and domiciled in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.
What type of lock do I need? What are your approved locks?
A lock appropriate to the value of the Cycle which is; specified in the ‘Sold Secure’ list, Cycles valued at more than £1,500 require a Gold rated Sold Secure lock, between £1,001 – £1,500 require a Silver rated lock, and below £1,000 a bronze lock.
How can I make a claim?
The quickest and easiest way for you to make a claim is online – All claims are managed the Claims administrator MB&G Insurance. Simply select the type of claim you wish to make, provide the information requested and submit the claim form. Once you have submitted the claim form, sit back and let MB&G do the work. They will let you know about the progress of your claim, and what you need to do next on a regular basis
